BodyTalk Integrated Therapy & Reiki Healing Touch

In BodyTalk Integrated Therapy with Reiki Healing Touch, Monique uses the protocols of BodyTalk, the methods of Reiki Healing Touch, along with her acquired knowledge in natural health, to provide a unique and effective healing therapy for her clients. First the BodyTalk protocols and procedures are used to establish links and bring connection in the mind/body. Second, the calming and relaxing Reiki Healing Touch to balance all the healing work a client’s boy has done during that session. This unique combination Monique has perfected, has done wonders for her clients well being.

BodyTalk is a therapy based on the Mind/Body medicine approach of both Western and Eastern science (Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Energy work, Neurobiofeedback).  Using specific tapping, hand positions and breathing techniques, this therapy allows the body's energy systems to be re-synchronized so they can operate as nature intended. Each body system, organ, muscle, cell and atom in the body are constantly communicating. Through exposure to stress, injury or trauma these lines of communication can become compromised or disconnected, leading to a decline in physical, emotional and/or mental well-being. BodyTalk helps restore efficient communication in a quick and effective way, allowing the body to recover, preventing disease and rapidly accelerating the healing process.

Reiki Healing Touch are a combination of two similar energy based therapies which Monique uses at the end of each session with her clients. It is a hands on method using specific or guided hand positions, either on the body or just above. These hand positions work with the Meridians and the Chakras to open the body's blocked energy systems and relaxation and influence natural self-healing.  This helps balance and relax clients and lets the body adjust to any shifts that may have happened during the BodyTalk portion.

Therapy sessions usually last from 30 - 60 minutes depending on what your needs to be addressed at the time. Clients are fully clothed and recline in a therapy chair (anti-gravity chair) throughout the session. Often session begins by discussing client’s health status and any other personal issues they may wish to discuss and address.
